Takanodai Cherry Blossoms Festival
The festival is held in early April every year at Sugito-nishi Kinrin Park. Around the park are there 250 cherry trees. Visitors enjoy the cherry blossoms as well as refeshment stands and free market.
Sugito Edo River Fireworks Festival
The fireworks festival is held in the end of July every year at the bank of Edo River, the backside of Environmental Center. Visitors are fascinated by the fireworks with splendid light and sound in the night sky.
Summer Festival
A historical festival is held in the middle of July every year. The most spectacular event is the proceeding of ten odd portable shrines by adult carriers. It is the largest-class scale in the prefecture.
Furutone River's Lantern-offering Festival
Summer festival is held at Furutone River in early August every year. Approx. 250 hand-made lanterns with the size of one Tatami- mat are set afloat in Furutone River. Such lighting band on the river as long as approx. 1km looks like Milky Way on the ground.
Otsuka Kagura
Traditional Kagura, a noh dance, dedicated at Yasaka Shrine in the middle of July.
Eifuku Temple's Dojo Segaki
(Special Buddhist Ceremony)
Eifuku Temple's Special Segaki Buddhist Ceremony is held on August 22 and 23 every year. It is commonly called "Dojo Segaki" and is known from ancient times.
Industrial Festival
The festival is held at Agripark Yume Sugito in early November every year.
Chrysanthemum Festival is also held together.
